King County is taking steps to make it easier for Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) to contract with the county. This open house event introduces King County’s pro-equity contracting programs and initiatives related to architecture, engineering, and construction contracting for capital projects.
The event is hosted by various departments, including the King County Executive Climate Office (Green Jobs program), the Department of Executive Services (Business Development & Contract Compliance office), the Metro Transit Department, the Wastewater Treatment Division (Capital Training program), and the Solid Waste Division (Green Tools program).
By attending this event, you will have the opportunity to learn about contracting with King County and meet Prime contractors, King County Capital Project Managers, and local M/WBEs. You will also hear success stories from local small and medium M/WBEs and learn about grant opportunities.
