Port of Tacoma – RFB – PCT Operational Pavement Repair 2025 PA000000038 – Due 3/26/25

Description: Milling and replacement of failed asphalt sections throughout the container yard. Milling will be completed by mechanical mills to a depth of 4-1/2″ with replacement pavement placed in two lifts and finished to match adjacent paved areas.
A second potential component of the work includes the placement of concrete collars around utility basin lids. This effort will include sawcutting and removal of the existing asphalt pavement, placement of rebar and concrete in accordance with the specifications. The majority of terminal basin lids have collars.
This is an On-Call contract. The work will be assigned by Task Orders; each Task Order will address the scope of work and time of completion and shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents and Task Order provisions.
Task Order work is generally controlled by terminal schedule. Historically a single task order consisted of a 60-hr work window starting on a Friday afternoon and ending the following Sunday night. The last two paving contracts included work during standard business days and hours with advanced planning and coordination in a three-to-five-day window. Paving operations are expected to progress continuously during a terminal provided work window. Successful task orders generally require a contractor to mill and then place at least 1,000 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt in a 24-hour period.
The Port does not guarantee a certain amount of work.

Estimated Cost Range: $1,315,000, plus Washington State Sales Tax

Description: Snohomish County is seeking proposals for the purchase and provision of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) and associated software to support the transition of the County’s fleet to electric vehicles. The goal of this RFP-S is to identify an intelligent, scalable, and flexible charging infrastructure to meet current and future fleet and public-facing EV charging needs. This proposal focuses on charging hardware and software, but installation will be managed separately through an electrical contractor.

Snohomish County seeks to modernize and expand its EVSE network, replacing aging infrastructure and increasing capacity to support the growing demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging. The solution will consist of a mix of Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations. The County requires an intelligent charging network with power management capabilities to ensure reliable, efficient, and secure charging. The proposed solution should meet current charging needs while being flexible enough to accommodate future growth in the County’s fleet and public EV charging demands.

Procurement Summary: The Port of Tacoma (Port) and The Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA) are soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms qualified and interested in providing architectural services on an on-call basis. The Port will be the contracting agency for this contract and work under this contract may support either the Port of The Northwest Seaport Alliance in the South Harbor.
Architectural services requested on an on-call basis may include providing building condition assessments, cost estimates, constructability reviews, preparation of plans and specifications, as well as other architectural services to support the design and construction of new and existing sites and structures. Additional services may be required depending on the needs of the Port/NWSA.
There will be two qualified vendors selected, both to receive not to exceed contracts in total of $300,000 for Port of Tacoma and $300,000. for Northwest Seaport Alliance. The period of performance of the contracts is for (2) years from the execution of the contract or until the amount of the contract has been reached, whichever occurs first. At the sole option of the Port, the contract may be extended for up to (2) years at one (1) year intervals. The Port does not guarantee all disciplines of services will be used nor does the Port guarantee a specific volume of work under the contract(s).
The successful respondent may be precluded from competing for, or participating in, subsequent contracts that are the direct result of or primarily generated by, the work performed under the contract resulting from this procurement.
