Project Scope: This Work shall generally consist of constructing a shared use path between East 48th and East 40th Streets. The trail will use new or existing sidewalks and bike lanes or sharrows on both sides of the street from East 40th Street to the East D Street Bridge. Sidewalks, approaches and curb ramps will be updated to ADA requirements. The project also includes Pedestrian and Bicycle push button and beacons, LED Lighting, permanent bicycle counter, new signage, and new trailhead parking area at E. 40th and Pipeline Road. The work shall also include removal and replacement of additional road seactions and an 8 inch sanitary main.

Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 747 Market Street in the Tacoma Municipal Building in Room 148 at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018, to answer questions regarding the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements included in the contract.
