Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Cowlitz Wildlife Area office, 110 Main Avenue,
Morton, WA on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 10:00 am. Bidders will be able to review the units to be
harvested as well as the roadwork to be completed.
Project Scope: Commercially thin 230 acres of timber within the Peterman Hill Unit of the Cowlitz Wildlife
Area. Specified road improvement work and road grading will be included as part of the project.
Estimate: The project is estimated to generate 2,000 MBF (2,000,000 board feet) of sawlogs and 5,000 tons
of pulpwood logs.
