This event is designed for aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs to meet with some of Washington state’s most successful Black business owners. Through one-on-one discussions and networking, this event will help to uplift the next generation of Black businesses that will build wealth and transform our community.
RUDD’S R.U.B.B. (Raising Up Black Businesses) Initiative, a precedent-setting initiative designed to financially empower black-owned businesses invites you to join other Black business owners in a fun and powerful networking event in celebration of Black business month.
Ezell’s Famous Chicken Co-Founders Lewis and Darnell Rudd, along with their sister Faye Stephens, in partnership with DoorDash, launched Rudd’s R.U.B.B. (Raising Up Black Businesses) Initiative in 2021 to provide financial, management, and coaching support to grow wealth-creating Black-owned businesses. In 2021, the initiative made no-strings-attached grants to 20 Black-owned businesses.
