Understanding BOI Reporting Requirements for Small Businesses [SBDC]

February 6 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm PST

As of January 1, 2024, a significant number of small businesses in the United States are required to file Beneficial Owner Information (BOI) with the US Department of Treasury.

This live webinar will review how this portion of the Corporate Transparency Act relates to you and your small business. We will cover:

  • Who must file
  • What information is needed
  • Deadlines and due dates
  • How to file
  • Why this is important

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A for attendees.

The presenter, Melissa Tanno, is a Business Advisor with Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Poulsbo, WA. Born and raised in Kitsap County, she has spent the better part of the last 10 years consulting with and advising organizations of all sizes, primarily in technology operations. She specializes in root-cause analysis, drawing on decades of general knowledge to find holistic solutions for multi-faceted problems. She holds a BA from the University of Washington and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

A Zoom link for the webinar will be sent prior to the event to those who register.
