Join us for a Women and Girls Virtual Symposia. The virtual event will offer insights into academic and internship preparation, as well as professional, career and chance opportunities. A panel of Boeing’s female leaders will share their personal journeys, career paths, and offer guidance around best practices for managing
professional development. The USDOT Women & Girls In Transportation Initiative (WITI) offers an internship program enabling young women from colleges and universities across the country to participate.
Women in Transportation Initiative (WITI) is a flagship program of the United States Department of Transportation Office of Small Business, which is purposed to increase the participation of women in the transportation industry and prepare young women to become our nation’s future leaders by creating ladders of opportunity and small business’ economic competitiveness through careers, internships, strategic partnerships and education.
A collaboration formed between the Great Lakes, Southeast and Northwest Region of U.S. DOT Office of Small Business will host the Virtual Symposia, and we are excited about a positive outcome. Universities representing a cross-section of diverse female students, disciplines, and backgrounds will join the conversation and be inspired by the dynamic discussion. Each participating institution will be recognized and acknowledged during the program.
