Project Scope: This work shall generally consist of removal and replacement of asphalt roadways to the established grade of existing curb and gutter, removal of asphalt roadway, minor regrading, and placement of new rock section under new asphalt pavement with wedge curb, and replacement of curb ramps. Additionally this work shall also include replacement of an 8-inch sanitary sewer main on South 23rd St, extension of a 12-inch storm sewer main on South Hosmer St, replacement of a 10-inch storm sewer main with a 12-inch main on South 23rd St, and installation of new catch basins and manholes.
Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m., July 16, 2018 at Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St., Tacoma, Room 148 to answer questions regarding the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program and Local Employment and Apprenticeship Training Program (LEAP) requirements included in the contract. Prospective bidders are urged to attend.
