City of Tacoma – RFB – St. Paul Confined Disposal Facility Shoreline Erosion Maintenance and Repair Project – ES22-0371F – Due 5/16/23

Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will not be held. A site visit to the project location will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. The Contractor’s are required to register with the City to attend the site visit.

Project Scope: The project St. Paul Confined Disposal (CDF) Shoreline Erosion Maintenance and Repair Project will implement erosion maintenance and repair work for two areas along the shoreline adjacent to the St. Paul Confined Disposal Facility where contaminated sediments were placed and capped at the head of the St. Paul Waterway and along the eastern shoreline of Middle Waterway. The St. Paul CDF was constructed in 2005 to confined dredged contaminated sediment as part of the Commencement Bay Nearshore/Tideflats Superfund Site Removal Action. The project primarily consists of excavation and stockpiling of existing materials along the shorelines, and import and placement of erosion protection material and fish habitat mix along with some habitat enhancement features.

Estimate: $450,000 to $650,000
