Project Scope: It is the City’s intent to select a consultant based on qualifications and abilities of the firm and key project individuals. The City of Tacoma (City) Neighborhood and Community Services Department is soliciting proposals to establish a contract with a qualified vendor to provide training to organizations (priority focus: black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), and newly funded organizations), with a focus on grant management, capacity building, and professional development to strengthen small, culturally specific, community-based organizations that historically have not had access to the public and/or private funds necessary to build organizational capacity and infrastructure. Proposals submitted should be evidence-based and evidence-focused in service delivery for capacity building, professional development, and grant management.
