Project Scope: The Schuster Parkway Promenade (SPP) project is a major trail project that will support the City’s policy objectives for increasing its citywide active transportation network. The SPP project is being reverted to the planning phase due to unforeseen complications with geotechnical elements that significantly increase the cost of the project and also make it un-fundable through normal grant processes. The City is taking this opportunity to reengage the earlier broad-based stakeholder group to reassess the planning process to produce actionable and fundable design recommendations for both the short-term and long-term future of the corridor.
