About the project: The new ICA Basketball Training Facility project will replace the existing Pavilion Pool and build a new Basketball Training Facility in its place. The Training Facility will include first-class practice gymnasiums for the men’s and women’s basketball programs, a welcoming and statement-making lobby, court viewing spaces, and required building support. The new 38,000 square foot facility will function to support the performance and development of UW’s elite basketball athletes and serve as a marquee communication tool to celebrate Husky tradition and maximize appeal for prospective recruits.
The project will provide interior connections to the arena floor level of Hec Edmundson Pavilion to the west and Graves Annex strength and conditioning space to the north. Site improvements will include but are not limited to landscape and hardscape improvements, accessibility compliance, site restoration, and utility/infrastructure relocations.
