Procurement Summary: The Port of Tacoma is seeking a consultant to work, in collaboration with the Port’s DEI workgroup, on DEI awareness/training and workplan development that leads to the creation of a DEI Plan.

The Port of Tacoma requests proposals from consultant firms with expertise in providing professional consulting services in the area of DEI. The Port of Tacoma is seeking the development of a Port of Tacoma-wide DEI training program for our employees. This program would include policy development, employee training modules, conducting initial employee training, and providing the Port of Tacoma with a framework to carry forward this work independently. In addition, the Port of Tacoma seeks assistance in reviewing policies, practices, and community outreach and engagement through a DEI lens.
