Project Description: The Tacoma School District is requesting qualifications from Contractors interested in providing Design/Build (D/B) services for the 9th & Broadway Building – Ground Floor Tenant Improvements project. The Alternative Public Works contracting procedure authorized in RCW 39.10.300 through 39.10.330 will be utilized for this project. This project will utilize the Progressive Design/Build delivery method. Contractors with previous design/build experience or experience using a similar alternative construction delivery format are encouraged to apply. Note that it is the District’s intent to select only the D/B Contractor under this procurement process and then work collaboratively with the successful D/B Contractor to solicit and procure the design team for the project.
