The University of Washington Facilities (UWF) Project Delivery Group is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified design-build firms to design and construct the UWMC NW MOB Gamma Knife project.

Project Description: This project installs a new gamma knife in a space that was previously a functioning gamma knife clinic on the ground floor of the Medical Office Building on the University of Washington Medical Center Northwest campus. This space is licensed with DOH and will continue to be licensed. The project will create space for the Gamma Knife program, including patient care requirements to include treatment vault, exam and procedure rooms, staff workspace, clean and soiled utility rooms and storage for masks, frames, and other equipment. The project will include updated finishes in the space and will need to meet today’s FGI and AHJ requirements.
The project budget is $6 million. The University’s target budget for all work to be provided by the Design-Builder under the design-build contract is $4.6 million exclusive of Washington State sales tax
