WA Department of Commerce – RFP – Evaluate solar readiness for multifamily affordable housing – Due 5/27/25

Two phases of work
Phase one:
- Remotely assess onsite solar potential of approximately 1,000 multifamily properties from data provided by Commerce’s Housing Division and the Washington State Housing Finance Commission.
- Produce assessment reports detailing each property and identifying those best-suited for onsite solar installation based on Solar for All requirements.
Phase two:
- Design solar systems that are compliant with applicable codes for each selected property.
- Design energy storage systems that support resilience and additional household savings for a subset of multifamily properties.
