Scope: The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is seeking a consultant team to provide design and engineering services leading to the removal and replacement of a drinking water pump station building shell, including changes to the existing electrical service for the pumps and a new building electrical system. The initial contract will cover the design phase only, and the subsequent phases will be performed through an amendment to the contract and include engineering support services during construction, and close out. Existing pumps will remain, but do not need to be operational during construction. Mitigation measures may be required for the removal of the existing building.
Estimate: The estimated range for the project construction cost is $1.2M to $2.0M.
